The Estate Sale Process

1) Sort out your things you will move into your new home

2) Let family members and other loved ones take out items left to them.

3) Place personal belongs in storage, the garage, or somewhere away from the estate sale. It is best to pack before the estate sale. Once setup starts, the personal property left becomes the property of OGDEN LAYTON ESTATE SALES.

4) Setup tables and place as many items for sale on tables as possible. Roll off dumpster in the drive way.

5) Pre-Sale walk through of antique dealer partners and collectors to buy larger items and appraise others.

6) Price smaller items such as DVDs, books, clothes, toys furniture, etc.

7) Advertise the sale.

8) Hold the sale.

9) Donate the rest of the items to charity or place in dumpster.

10) Client is paid any left over monies as NET PROCEEDS.
